Designed, prototyped and tested novel remote tracking hydrofoil to collect long-term data used for hydrological mapping of postburn areas; submitted for National Science Foundation Innovation Challenge.

Applications of projectile and aerodynamic optimization are crucial in aerospace, military, commercial airline and paintball industries. Aerodynamic shell design requires determining the relations between design features and their effects on performance objectives. The purpose of this study was to determine the maximum distance we could obtain varying a critical aerodynamic feature: fin design.
